More Shoes? DUH!

People have been asking, so I am delivering more shoe goodness to the masses. They are still perfect AND awesome. But like any good bloated government agency I have a back up plan. Unfortunately Steve and Barry’s is going out of business. This horrible event did afford me the opportunity to pick up “The Shoes 2.0”.

The Shoes 2.0

The Shoes 2.0

As you can imagine with shoes such as these I live a life of extreme fanciness. I spend most of my time jetting around the world and taking pics of the shoes at amazing venues. What do fancy people do you ask? Well for one we chill by the pool.

Another thing fancy people do is eat at fancy establishments. And as we all know the fanciest of fancy is Fusion. I had a full rack of ribs and shared them with Jake my seven year old. He is now a rib-a-holic. My eleven year old had what he described as the best dinosaur shaped chicken strips he has ever eaten.

One last bit of very important information. I know you wish it didn’t have to end. But alas the time is drawing near. My seven year old has entered the fray. He has himself come into ownership of an undeniably fancy pair of shoes.

I as of late have been engaging in parlor games. I gotta tell you people can’t help but be enamoured by the shoes. They garner respect at every turn. Apparently people respect bowling too, as this always seems to come up.

We played a little “cut throat” on the pool table. This game if you have not had the pleasure of playing…NEVER ENDS!

I also keep running into people that have impeccable taste in shoes. This guy from our Sunday School class is sporting a pair of Starburys himself.

This one I just stuck in here because my Dog is an Idiot. For real.

Been a little while since I have shared my AMAZING shoes with you guys. They are still completely awesome. It makes me a little sad that I can’t wear them to work because they aren’t “professional” looking…Pfttt whatever. I also don’t wear them while working on the Bug cause the bug prefers flip flops. Although perhaps if I worked with a black light on the Bug might dig the kicks?

We have some rules in our marriage. Right up near the top of the list is “Never allow Shawn to buy shoes all by himself.” Every now and then like an albino tiger, things fall into place and rules are bent… We were at Steve and Barrys looking for some clothes for the kids. Now Steve and Barrys is a really good place to buy clothes cause of the cheapness. NBC news told us we were barely able to survive and would probably lose our home at any minute so we weren’t taking any chances.

Becky made a fatal error and went off looking at houndshooth jackets leaving me alone in the shoe department with the boys. I happened to find a really nice pair of shoes with fake patent leather in the eye popping colors of safety orange and electric blue. They are part of the line of clothing by NBA star Stephon Marbury. He feels that kids shouldn’t have to spend $150 to buy shoes made in a third world country just so they can be cool. So for only about $15 you can be almost as cool as me. (or an NBA star if that’s how you want to look at it.)

I wear these wicked kicks walking in my hood…

Party like a rock star.

I wear them when I visit with Jesus.

And sometimes I even wear them when I get sleepy and need some fuel.

I have decided to take pictures of my infinitely cool shoes in infinitely cool locations. This is but the beginning.
